In the late 1960s and ealry 1970s, Chinese Business Delegations were invited by the Iraqi Government, led by Iraqi Ministry of Trade, with the objective to strengthen trading ties between the two countries; Iraq and China.

The Founder of our company, Mr. B. M. Benjamin, was among the very few that were invited by the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, as consultant, to negotiate terms on behalf of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade. 
 

At that time, the meeting was considered of a great sucess as it lead to major contracts to be negotiated and signed between Iraq and China. Furthermore, the trade convention also opened the opportunity for our company to be one of the first trade companies to market Chinese goods, such as power generators, gas and diesel, water pumps into the Iraqi market.
